Special Commitment from MAD Museum in NY

The Museum of Arts & Designs in New York asked me to create jewelry for the three former chairmen of the museum as gifts. I was very surprised and honored that the art museum, which has the largest collection of contemporary jewelry in the United States, asked me, who is in Japan, and not an American artist. The requests were that each of the three couples should have a different piece of jewelry (one necklace, two brooches, and cuffs for all men), each one should be very personal, and all should include the building of MAD Museum.  Any other design pert was up to me. I researched them on the Internet, read interviews, and interviewed the museum staff about themselves. It was super great experience. I am so thankful for MAD Museum about this project.
